Ductless Fume Hood’s range of filtration fume and particulate containment cabinets offer total practicality and suitability for a huge variety of applications.
With large capacity deep fill carbon filters fitted the cabinets can be used for a huge range of chemical containment applications such as solvent, ammonia, sulphur, acid, ether fumes and many more. With HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) or ULPA (Ultra Low Particulate Air) filters fitted, particulate down to 0.12µm in size can be contained making the cabinets fantastic for use with balances, asbestos or most other particulate applications. All cabinets can be fitted with carbon and /or particulate filters.
The range of cabinets offer unparalleled green credentials. With power ratings of just 80watts and noise levels at 52 dB(A), this makes them some of the most economical and quiet cabinets available.
There are three cabinets in the range offering a choice of sizes at 550mm wide, 650mm wide and 900mm wide. All three cabinets are supplied with wide and high working apertures making them extremely easy, comfortable and functional to use and work with. This aperture allows fantastic access to the working area during normal operation and also hinges fully open to allow total access to the working area for installation of apparatus or equipment. They have been designed and tested to ensure compliance with BS7989:2001
To ensure the cabinet is functioning correctly, every model has an animated colour LCD display showing that the airflow is working within safe and calibrated parameters. If the airflow drops, then the display changes and an audible alarm will sound to alert the user to any maintenance requirements. For critical chemical applications a carbon filter saturation alarm can be included to indicate to the operator when the carbon filter is nearing the end of its life.
The cabinets have been manufactured from epoxy powder coated zintec mild steel to give years of uninterrupted service. For extremely aggressive applications such as working with acids, we can manufacture the whole cabinet from chemically resistant polypropylene. The polypropylene cabinets have the same functionality, features and performance as the steel versions, just with added chemical compatibility.
